I went to the Austin location not long after it opened and liked it, so thought I’d try this one. The food was fine. The space was clean and bright. What was not fine was the service. There were 10 people in the restaurant. 4 tables of 2 and 2 people at the bar., so it was not busy. Yet, we had to get up twice to get our own water refills and then got up a third time to get our own to go box. Then when handed the pay machine the waitress was busy looking off into space the other direction, so I just put the machine down on the table. Why my boyfriend gave her a 20% tip I’m not sure because she sure didn’t earn it.

First time here and it was good! We had family visit from out of state and tried this on a whim. We tried a little bit of everything. Their food is served as ready which was nice. We could eat a little bit of everything without getting stuffed. We definitely took advantage of that. We loved the tostados and corn fritters. The butchers cut was my favorite while the others were torn between the ribs and pork belly. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. They were happy to turn on the FIFA game for us. It was casual and had a nice outdoor sitting area as well.

My wife & I went out for a later dinner at Loro on the night we arrived in Dallas. It was a bit confusing at first since we sat down and no-one came around after a few minutes. We realized we needed to order at the counter. One we got that straightened out, the food came out fast. We sat at the bar and it was easy to order drinks and the bartender gave us a complimentary desert since it was my birthday :) We order the Thai sticky ribs, brisket, cabbage salad, corn fritters and broccoli. It was nice to have a bunch of tasty green and veggies to go along with the BBQ. The brisket was good but nothing to write home about but we did enjoy the ribs a lot! My only compliant was how dark it was in there. The lighting was so dim at the main tables and booths, it seemed really hard to see the food. I'd definitely go back to try some more items if we're ever in Dallas again.

I have visited Loro's East Dallas location maybe five times in the last two years. I love it there. Hands down one of the best Asian fusion restaurants in DFW, let alone Dallas. (K-Pop Ramen is very good as well!) This review, then, is overdue. One of Loro's standout features is the customer service. I am always greeted the moment I walk in. I always sit at the bar and there, too, I am consistently taken care of. BUT the food. Ohhhh boy, the food. The fusion of flavors. Salty, smokey, umami. Fresh, tangy, sweet. Everything is prepared and cooked with attention to detail. I have enjoyed the following: Spicy Japanese Curry Ramen special, Chicken Karaage, Fried Corn Fritters, Oak Smoked Brisket, and various rice bowls, including the Curry Marinated Shrimp and the Bangkok Spicy Fried Chicken.

Amazing from start to finish. I loved the outdoor seating, and the dog-friendly touches were a great surprise. The complimentary dog treats were super cute and a thoughtful detail. The steak bowl and salmon bowl were both delicious and satisfying - honestly, I would’ve eaten here again if I hadn’t run out of days. The drinks were refreshing and well-balanced, perfect for the setting. The corn fritters were good, keep in mind they’re definitely more of a shareable plate. They don’t reheat well, so they’re best enjoyed fresh at the table. I'm not sure I'd order them again. Overall, Loro is a great spot for good food, good drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. Would absolutely return.
